The online career assessment you are about to take is uniquely designed to provide you with a clear reflection of your unique God-given design and help you maximize your talents and abilities . It examines 4 critical components of career selection to help you discover what you were made to do:

• Skills and abilities – what you naturally do well
• Values – what you value in your work and life
• Vocational interests – what you are interested in doing
• Personality – how you naturally respond to life

God wants you to use the gifts He has given you to glorify Him in your vocation, rather than try to be something you are not. Your PURPOSE is the destination, but how you get there is through your CALLING. Your calling includes the combination of your unique talents, abilities and spiritual gifts!

If you do not take the assessment correctly, results will be distorted and not a true reflection of YOU. So to get the most accurate results possible, it will be important to do the following:

1. Block out a 1.5 hour window of time in a comfortable undisturbed space where you won’t feel too rushed – so you can relax and think deeply about the questions. (If needed, you can complete a section, save it and come back to finish later…but don’t forget to come back and finish!)
2. Be as honest as possible without regard to how you might look to others.
3. Do not answer how you would like yourself to be or how you wish you were – be transparent.
4. If you get stumped on questions about your personal traits, it is helpful to have someone nearby who knows you very well like a parent or close friend who can help you narrow down to the most accurate answer. But do your best to stay focused during this process.
5. While taking the assessment, continue to remind yourself of the current scale being used for each section so you don’t accidentally answer reverse of what you intended (example: a scale of 1-5 with 5 being “high”, but you answered 1 for “high”)
6. If you take the assessment but you are not truly interested in taking the assessment, this could skew your results.

Here’s how to get started:

1. If you are the parent of an older teen or an older teen or young adult, email spadecoachingllc@gmail.com and include “Career Assessment” in the subject line. Please include in the email the contact name, phone number for text, and email address to be used for your personal assessment link.
2. I will respond with payment portal information for you to submit your $110 payment for the Career Package (payment in full is due in advance). This fee covers access to your personal assessment link, personalized results report, and a 1 hour-long evaluation and coaching session to point out unique trends, maximize your results, and enable you to gain clarity regarding next steps.
3. Once $110 payment for the Career Package is received, Spade Coaching will forward your personal assessment link for you to take the test following the six instructions listed above.
4. Once you have completed your assessment and received your results (usually within an hour of completion), you should forward your results to spadecoachingllc@gmail.com in preparation for your 1 hour Evaluation and Coaching Session – I will contact you to set up!
